Hangeul Day Postcard Design
We are excited to share that two of our students have been selected as the 2nd and 3rd place winners in the "Hangeul Day Postcard Design" contest. Hangeul Day is a significant holiday in Korea that celebrates the Korean alphabet and King Sejong, who created it long ago. This is a remarkable achievement, as schools across the United States (K-12) with Korean programs participated in this competition. Our students learned about the history of Hangeul and created their designs during Korean class.
The winners will receive a cash award and a certificate from KLTA. Congratulations to:
- **2nd Place**: Emily Salgador, 8th grade, #322
- **3rd Place**: Dalia Lopez, 2nd grade, #219
