Dual Language Track
Students enrolled in Dual Language learn academic content in both languages, developing:

- Cultural competency and identity pride
- The foundation to pursue the Seal of Biliteracy in high school
World Language: Spanish
For students outside the Dual Language pathway, we offer World Language Spanish beginning in early grades to ensure all students grow as culturally aware global citizens.
We are committed to expanding bilingual and bicultural learning opportunities that empower students to confidently navigate—and contribute to—a multilingual world.

SEL
Students learn best when they feel safe, valued, and connected. Our SEL model is woven into classroom instruction and daily routines. Students learn to:

Multi-Tiered System of Supports
Our Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) ensures that every student gets what they need to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.
What MTSS Looks Like at Azuela:
- Ongoing monitoring of academic and social-emotional progress
- Targeted small-group instruction and intervention supports
- Collaboration between teachers, support staff, and families
- Individualized plans when students need more intensive support
This approach ensures that students are never left behind and are always moving forward.
